1k, 5k, 10k run to be held Saturday at Palouse Days

Palouse Days Fun Run/Walk will be Saturday, Sept. 13, at Palouse with three distances offered to entrants - 1K run/walk, 5K run/walk and 10k run.

All races will start at 8 a.m. with an entry fee of $15 for pre-registration or $20 for the day of the race. Pre-registration closes Friday, Sept. 12. The youth/student cost for the 1K race is $10.

The courses start on Main Street and include pavement, sidewalks, walking paths and gravel roads. A water station and first aid kit will be available at the 5k turnaround point.

The registration fee includes t-shirt, refreshments and prizes for top finishers. T-shirts are only guaranteed for registrations submitted by Sept. 6. Award categories include 13 and under, 14-18, 19-35, 36-55 and 55-plus.

Race day check-in is at Bagott Motors on Main Street.
