Anniversaries

A 50th wedding anniversary for Frank and Billie Watson, residents of St. John since 1993, will be at the St. John Community Building Saturday, Sept. 20, from 2 to 5 p.m.

After moving to St. John, he was a teacher and football coach and she was the school secretary.

Watson and Billie Wiese, both from Blue Springs, Mo., were married with full military honors at West Point after Frank's graduation from the academy June 3, 1964.

They resided in 17 homes in 11 different states during 22 years of service in the Air Force.
