Colfax V-netters bag Doering’s 800th win

An 800th career win for Coach Sue Doering during a strong campaign in Spokane, and a hard fought league win over Northwest Christian Tuesday went into the books for the Colfax V netters this week. The Bulldogs out-fought the visiting Crusaders in a five game battle on the home court Tuesday to advance to 4-0 in league play and 16-2 overall.

Coach Doering expected NWC to be tough after the two NE schools crossed paths in the Okanogan tournament three weeks ago. Tuesday the Bulldogs had trouble putting down a strong serve attack which has been a big factor in the early league rounds.
