Timberwolves goes down 48-0

The Tekoa-Rosalia football team played Kettle Falls at home Friday and went down 48-0.

With the score 40-0 halftime, and two T.R. kids out with concussions, coach Bob Bucsko converged with the Kettle Falls coach and they agreed to play a J.V. game the rest of the way.

The score in the second half was 6-0 Kettle Falls.

"When our kids match up with a team their age, they do well," said Bucsko of his young roster.

The Timberwolves started the year with 26 players and, due to injuries, are now down to 14 or 15.

This week, one of the injured T.R. players may return, Eli Richardson.

"He would be one of the 15," Buscko said.

The team will play next at Davenport in what will be a J.V. game.
