Goal for this year's Colfax & Community Fund Drive will be $25,000. Official start of the drive is today, Oct. 23.
The drive has mailed out 1,531 letters to residences and businesses asking for support. Cost of the mailing is the lone administrative expense of the drive.
Member agencies assisted by the fund drive include Alternatives to Violence of the Palouse, Boost Collaborative (formerly Palouse Industries), Boy Scouts of America, Colfax Community Childcare Center, Colfax Youth League, Community Action Center, Council on Aging and Human Services, Families Together for People with Disabilities, and Palouse River Counseling.
