New Navy ensign

Rosalia High and WSU graduate Jim Maley, son of Graig and Swanda Maley of Thornton, graduated Oct. 10 at Naval Officer Training Center in Newport, Rhode Island. Maley graduated along with 86 other enlisted men and women. Ensign Maley has been assigned to serve on the destroyer John Paul Jones at Pearl Harbor for the next two years. Family members attended the graduation. Maley's design for the class logo was selected by his graduating class as the official U.S. Navy logo for the class.
