Retirement fete for Betty Merritt

McGregor Land and Livestock and the Hooper community honored Betty Merritt with a retirement party Saturday, Oct. 18, after 17 years of service as the bookkeeper and office person at the Hooper office.

More than 80 friends, family and residents attended the party, where she was presented with a plaque by Alex and Ian McGregor noting the appreciation for her years of dedicated service.

A card and gift certificate, and a fire pit for their new home, all purchased from donations, were presented.
