Channel work resumes

A city crew returned to work clearing flood debris from the S. Palouse River channel Monday. The crew obtained permission from state Fish & Wildlife officials to resume cleanup work on the channel.

City Administrator Michael Rizzitiello said the city still needs permits to start work on a plan to install erosion control barbs in the North Fork of the Palouse River. Rock taken from the S. Fork has been designated for the N. Fork barbs project....
