Dusty visitor attends Gonzaga reunion

Recent guests of Fran Jones were her daughter Gena Jones of Chatillon, Italy, and two of her friends, Nicoletta and Maria. While here, Gena attended her 30th class reunion from Gonzaga University and visited her brother Warren and Julie Walker in Hayden, Idaho. They also spent part of a day in Sandpoint where they visited with Gena’s friend and classmate from G.U., Mary Jones. Other day trips included two to Walla Walla where they visited with Gena’s daughter Meggie who is attending Walla Walla Community College.

Dick and Helen Appel attended the annual meeting of the Washington State Sheep Producers in Leavenworth. Dick is a past president and finance director. Helen is Washington Woolgrowers Auxillary President and promotion chairman. Their granddaughter Sarah Appel, daughter of Eric and Shannon Appel, was a participant in the Make It With Wool contest.

Joan Myrick and Di Brink spent last Saturday in Spokane with their cousin Camille Patterson, visiting and shopping.

Saturday, Karen Broeckel and her sister Patty Wieber, Spokane, attended funeral services for Ken Lundy, their cousin Noreeta Fauser Lundy’s husband, at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Spokane.
