RTOP to begin

Oklahoma run

Regional Theater of the Palouse will present Rodgers and Hammerstein's “Oklahoma!” Nov. 6 through Nov. 16.

“Oklahoma!” was the first collaboration between these two giants of American Musical Theater. Originally produced in 1943, the show was a box office smash hit that saw an unprecedented 2,212 performances before closing.

RTOP brings to life this popular musical for audiences on Nov. 6, 7, 8, 12, 13, 14, 15 at 7:30 p.m. Matinees are at 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 8, 9, 15 and 16.

RTOP Artistic Director John Rich will direct the musical for the fifth time.

Some familiar songs which have become standards of the American musical, are “Surrey with the Fringe on Top,” “Oh, What a Beautiful Morning,” “Can't Say No,” and the title song, “Oklahoma.”

Reservations are required and ticket prices are $12 for ages 12 and younger and $20 for adults. Tickets can be purchased at the RTOP Box Office in Pullman.
