Correction

In its account of the election returns last week the Gazette incorrectly reported the Farmington propositions had failed to pass. Both propositions passed by topping 60 percent approval.

The results after Friday’s count show Proposition 1 with 53 votes approving and 23 votes against, or 70 percent to 30 percent. Proposition 2 is also passing with 54 votes approving and 23 rejecting, or 70 percent to 30 percent.

The two propositions failed on the primary election ballot in August.
