Holiday gala
set at Dahmen
The ninth annual Holiday Gift Gala at the Dahmen Barn will be Saturday, Dec. 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The 20 resident artists have their studios full of their creations and The Shop at the Barn expanded its inventory with popular holiday products. Visiting artists and crafts-people, who design and make one-of-a-kind gifts for men, women and children, will also participate.
The Shop at the Barn features eclectic creations from more than 125 artists and fine crafts-people from the Palouse region.
Special this year is the "Too Hot to Handle" project, a fundraiser for the commercial kitchen in our addition. Several resident artists, board members and community friends pooled their talent and fabric to make hundreds of creative hot pads which will be for sale at the Gala. The kitchen will be used for catering and a new culinary arts program.
