Holiday contest deadlines

LaCrosse Beautification Committee is naming a Holiday Yard of the Month in December. Residents are encouraged to have Christmas lights and decorations up by Dec. 17 at 6:30 p.m. for judging.

A business decorating contest will also be underway. Votes can be left at Jasper Trucking, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Dec. 8 to Dec. 17.

The winners of the Halloween contest: Infant-2 years old, Hudson Startin as Raggedy Ann; 3-5 year old Boden Olsen; 6-8 year old Chase Harder as a skeleton joker; 9-11 year old Isabella Olsen as a zombie slayer; 12-Adult Norma Gibson as a fortune teller.

LaCrosse FFA will sell Christmas wreaths and trees again this year. Wreaths are 26 inches with three varieties of greens with five clusters of mini pinecones and berries. Contact an FFA member for more information and to purchase a wreath. Wreaths will be delivered Dec. 6.
