Healthy Tekoa Coalition is teaming up with FCCLA to present a full day of family fun and food Saturday, Dec. 6. The family crafts include designing locker picture frames, reindeer flower pots, Polish stars, marshmallow snowmen and survival bracelets. Admission to crafting is free but a parent is required. The craft session runs from 3-5 p.m.
The FCCLA’s annual Chili Cookoff will follow. Teams must sign up and pay a fee to enter the contest. Judging and tasting starts at 5 p.m. To promote families staying at the chili cook off, bowls of chili will only cost $2.50 per person. All proceeds will go to FCCLA.
