Seven senior football players will perform in the CHS musical South Pacific which opens a run of six performances tonight on the Colfax High School stage at 7:30 p.m.
The football players participated in evening play practices after afternoon football practices which usually meant up to 14-hour days at school.
Director Cary Cammack commended the seniors for making the commitment.

The Rodgers and Hammerstein classic will also be performed Friday, Saturday and Monday at 7:30 p.m.
Matinee shows will be Tuesday at 9 a.m.
and Wednesday at 9:30 a.m.
for students with public seating limited.
The cast includes more than 40 performers with double casting for most of the lead roles.
