Tekoa fire truck purchase, trade

The City of Tekoa has arranged to buy a brush truck surplused by the Whitman County Rural Fire District 1 at Tekoa for $1,500 and the exchange of the city’s 1994 Dodge maintenance truck. The brush truck will be converted by Tekoa’s Public Works department to be used for city maintenance.

The purchase-exchange was approved by the city council Nov. 17.
