Legion issues call for members

St. John

John Stelzer of Pine City has put out a plea that the American Legion #0179 of St. John is fading away. He said if this program is lost, no one will put flags on the graves to honor the fallen vets. Also, the Legion is the honor guard and flag bearers at parades. He stressed that the Legion does much more. Area veterans who would like to join the Legion are encouraged to contact Stelzer at Pine City or Tom Simpson at St. John.
