Thanksgiving brings many guests to Dusty

Thanksgiving guests at the homes of Fran Jones and Bryan Jones were Warren Jones and Julie Walker. They returned to Hayden, Idaho on Saturday, Nov. 29.

Meggie Perron, Fran’s granddaughter who attends Walla Walla Community College, spent her break from classes at the Joneses' homes. While here, she and Fran enjoyed the Colfax High School play “South Pacific”. On Wednesday, Bryan and Meg visited Bryan’s daughter Emelie in Spokane.

Lucky and Joan Myrick hosted Thanksgiving day dinner for Di and Larry Brink and Kevin, Amber, Ashley, Kloey, Ellie and Nick Brink.

Steve and Becky Camp had a good visit during Thanksgiving dinner with Steve’s mother, Donna Camp, in Spokane. The Tuesday before Thanksgiving, the Camps attended the annual Cattlemen’s Dinner at the Palouse Empire Fairgrounds.

Carrie Pitts, daughter of Kim and Cindy Pitts, has received notification that she has earned her National Board Certification for Teachers. This involves a voluntary series of tasks and tests over a year long effort. Pitts teaches in the Yakima School District.

Kim and Cindy Pitts had a week’s worth of guests for Thanksgiving. Jen, Ryan, Kellen, Becket and Willa Hammons arrived from Boise the Monday of Thanksgiving week. Carrie Pitts arrived on Wednesday. Thursday, Norm Bafus of LaCrosse and Amanda, Erik, Rafe and Tate Carlson of Spokane arrived for dinner. Saturday, Jen, Ryan and Carrie attended the Apple Cup in Pullman. Sunday, the daughters and families all returned to their respective homes.

David and Phyllis Stueckle joined Marcus and Reita Stueckle and Norm and Gloria Erickson as guests of Goldie Foss for Thanksgiving at her home in Colfax.

Greg, Gwen and Jason Nolan hosted Thanksgiving dinner at their Colfax home for Oscar Broeckel, Brian and Angela Broeckel, Graham BeDell, and Karen Broeckel, Dusty; Cliff and Jeanette Nolan, Andrew Nolan and Emily Ovens, Colfax; Patty Wieber, Brett Wieber, Becca Killian and Matty Forrest, Spokane; Ken, Pam and Zach Beasley, Waitsburg and Tony and Denise Kendall, Tacoma. Doreen Riedner, Genesee, joined the group for evening visiting.
