Weddings

Charles and Elida Golob of Palouse announce the marriage of their son, Matthew T. Golob, to Ling Zhu. They were married in Judy Finch's garden in Palouse June 28, 2014. Celebrating with them were Ling's parents Prem Shenyang, China, along with guests from Palouse, Yakima, Seattle, San Francisco and Norway. The couple met in Atlanta, Ga., where they now make their home. Ling is a software engineer with Nuerotica, and Matthew is a solar research engineer at Georgia Tech.

Allison Vorderbrueggen and Joe Johnson were joined in marriage July 12, 2014, at the Schweitzer Event Center in Pullman.

An outside ceremony was followed by dinner and dancing inside the event center.

Top Notch Café catered the dinner, Cakes by Jeanine provided the cake and Jenny Bowles of Gotcha! Photography took pictures of the event.

The Rev. Richard May conducted the ceremony.

Allison is the daughter of Albert and Shala Vorderbrueggen of Colfax.

Joe is the son of Bob and Laura Johnson of Colfax.

Joe graduated from Washington State University in May 2014 with a degree in agriculture technology and production management.

He is farming with his parents.

Allison is attending Eastern Washington’s graduate school program and completing her degree in occupational therapy.

The couple resides in Colfax.
