Colfax Winter Festival will welcome Old St. Nick Saturday, Dec. 13. This is the first year the festival has been celebrated on a Saturday.
From 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., local businesses will have specials and specialty vendors will be at the Center, the former Hamilton Drug building.
From 1 to 4 p.m., pictures with Santa by Leifer Photography will be at the Center along with free goodies for children.
At 4 p.m., a Christmas Tree lighting ceremony will be at the Codger Pole Park.
The annual Christmas parade will be on Mill Street at 4:30 p.m.
Special music by the Ukulele Club and the Festival of Trees last minute voting will be at the Center from 5 to 6 p.m.
To top off the evening, from 6 to 9 p.m., the Colfax Festival of Trees winner will be announced. Caroling and food for children will be included in the festivities.
