The Friday library children's reading group went around Endicott Dec. 5 singing Christmas carols. They came to the Endicott Food Center and sang around the Christmas tree to the coffee crowd.
Friday, Dec. 5, Kathy Schlomer hosted her yearly Christmas luncheon at her home for the Endicott area ladies. Those present were Judy Cook, Pat Byers, Margaret Schmick, Sue Bafus, Jerine Grey, Kathy Bafus, Bertie Honn, Carol Hannas, Kathy Storment, Gail Bilow and Shirley Morasch.
Saturday, Dec. 6, a Christmas celebration was held at the Endicott Community Club lot with lighting of the Christmas lights, Japanese Lanterns filling the sky and fireworks. Santa arrived on a fire truck with siren wailing. The children lined the street waiting for a chance to see and say hello to Santa. Everyone moved into Endicott Food Center so Santa could hear each child's Christmas list and receive a sack with goodies, hot chocolate and cookies.
Elizabeth Circle met Dec. 8 for their Christmas party at Endicott Food Center. President Ann Stoner led a prayer to start the occasion. They played a new kind of Christmas Bingo and exchanged gifts. Attending were Sue Bafus, Kathy Schlomer, Jerine Grey, Carol Larson, Pat Byers, Helen May Helt, Jamie Misner, Gail Bilow, Anne Lowe, Helen Jane Hughes, Fran Cuttler, Kathy Storment, Ila Stuart and Ann Stoner.
