Wrestlers bag six titles at Springdale Invitational

With only 11 of wrestlers competing at the Springdale invitational Saturday,Colfax-Garfield/Palouse wrestlers bagged six first place finishes at the Springdale tournament Saturday,. They had one second, one third, and one fourth.

Winning titles were Trapper Askins (GP)-132, Mitch Barnkey-138, Reggie Jones-152, Brandon Arneson 170, Brian DeYoung 195, and Nick McAdams 220.

Travis Knauff finished second to Barney in the 138 class, and Dane Hall placed third at 138. . Trevin Kennedy was fourth in the heavyweight class.

132-Trapper Askins pinned Seth Hall-NWC, pinned Chris Jones-Cx, decisioned Daniel Phillips-RHS.

138-Mitch Barney decisioned Leo Curiel-CHS, decisioned Nathan Chapman-EV, decisioned Travis Knauff for first. Knaff pinned David Just-WP, decisioned Rama Rudolph -TCP in semi.

152-Reggie Jones pinned Brandon Baugher-CHS, pinned Taylor Flesher-KF, decisioned Winston Scott-EV for first.

170-Brandon Arneson pinned Manuel Vidrios-WH, pinned Hunter Schunger-Spr, decisioned Dallas Pierce for first.
