Liberty Lake man opens tax prep office in Colfax

With the retirement of Jerry Moss at Palouse Hills Accounting in Colfax at the end of 2014, Bruce Abbey of Liberty Lake purchased the practice.

Now named Abbey Tax, the office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday to serve individuals and businesses.

Abbey has worked preparing income tax returns since 1986, beginning as a side business from home while he managed an Office Depot location in Pismo Beach, Calif.

He moved with his family to Liberty Lake in 2013. Abbey Tax in Colfax will be the second location for what is now his full-time work.
