Extending their winning streak to 61 games last Saturday night, Colton outlasted third-place Touchet, 66-52.
Trailing by four points at the end of the first quarter, the Wildcats outscored Touchet 20-8 in the second to create some cushion in a close-fought game in Colton.
Maryann Jacobs scored eight quick points to start the second quarter surge for the Wildcats.
Savannah Chadwick and Zoe Moser both scored 16 points each for Colton (17-0, 10-0 in league) while Meghan Devorak had 12 rebounds and Rachel Meyer scored 10 points.
Cierra Jo McKeown led Touchet with 19 points in the game.
Liberty Christian 45, Garfield-Palouse 39
Keely Burnes led the Vikings with 14 points in a home loss to the Patriots Saturday. Payson Griner added 11 points in the game in which Gar-Pal was outscored 26-17 in the second and third quarters. Other Viking scorers included Katie Arrasmith with six and Bri Brown with five.
Bella Loera led Liberty Christian with 16 points.
Colton 68, St. John-Endicott 31
The Wildcats dismissed the Eagles at St. John Friday to extend their winning streak to an even 60 games.
Savannah Chadwick scored 21 points to lead Colton while Zoe Moser added 13 and Courtney Kimberling scored 10. Meghan Devorak had nine rebounds.
Pomeroy 52, Garfield-Palouse 34
Kacey Halbert led the Pirates with 25 points in a decisive win over the Vikings (2-11, 2-7) at Pomeroy Friday. Payson Griner and Bri Brown led Gar-Pal with 10 points each.
Oakesdale 41, Liberty Christian 33
Jacey Johnson scored 20 points and got 10 rebounds as the Nighthawks (9-4, 6-2) beat the Patriots in Richland. Lindsey Lindgren added nine points and nine rebounds.
