Local CASA program gets certificate

The Whitman County CASA program has just been awarded certification by the National Court Appointed Special Advocate Association. This certification recognizes that Whitman County CASA is in compliance with National CASA’s standards for quality child advocacy.

CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocate who is a trained volunteer appointed by a judge to represent and advocate for a child who is going through a court dependency case.
