Wrestlers roll to Ritzville for district show

Colfax and Garfield/Palouse wrestlers will head to Ritzville Friday for a two-day qualification run on the road to the state WIAA Mat Classic at Tacoma in two weeks. The district meet will include 16 teams from the SE and NE districts.

Friday’s two-round start at Ritzville was scheduled because many of the weight classes will have 16 wrestlers.

A preview of the big east side meet went down last week with the same teams assembled at Reardan for an all-day meet.
