Orofino duo starts Colfax FedEx store

Colfax Package & Parcel officially opened for business on Feb. 2, and as the only FedEx service center in Whitman County, they are receiving good customer response.

Before opening, FedEx only had a drop box on North Main Street. Harold and Diane Rawlings are the FedEx owners and operators. Brooklyn Schmidt assists them with the business.

The Rawlings’ daughter, Kimberly DeHart, owns the building at 213 N. Main Street in Colfax.

The Rawlings, who are from Orofino, said they will package whatever a customer brings in, wrap it and ship it. They also have Fed Ex packages for sale.

Deadline for shpiping packages is 2 p.m. Any packages received after that time will be shipped the following day.

Packages also may be delivered to the store instead of being delivered to a personal address.
