Harps attend session with senators in D.C.

Healthy Tekoa Coalition members Diane and Bill Harp traveled to Washington, D.C., Feb. 2-5, along with others including Sens. Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell for a presentation about hometown issues surrounding alcohol and marijuana use among teens. Four teens from across the state, including Walla Walla, Vashon Island and White Swan, spoke candidly about their personal experiences in school with friends who chose to use drugs or alcohol.
