Auction items sought to fund Tekoa trip

Organizers of a Tekoa Elementary School sixth grade annual field trip to the Olympic rain forest are seeking items to auction to raise money for the trip.

Items sought include gift certificates, new tools, antiques, garden items, collectibles, designer accessories, services, air miles, baked goods, vacation rental property use, unopened toys, auto parts, kitchen supplies, kitchen items, new sports equipment, art, wine or other items that may be desirable.

Organizers ask that the donations be brought to 116 South Crosby Street on Thursdays or Fridays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. or Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Smaller items may be dropped off at Mrs. Mendoza’s classroom at the school as well as at 141 South Howard Street.

The auction will be March 23-27 in Tekoa.
