Death Ride at Main Street Books

Becky and Tim Hattenburg were in Main Street Books on Saturday signing books for customers.

Their book, “Death Ride, A Little Boy’s Night of Terror,” is selling very well and the Hattenburgs are getting ready for a second printing.

Becky is a 1971 graduate of Oakesdale High School.

The couple lives in Spokane Valley.

The book is a true story about Larry Kuntz and how he survived losing his parents in a tragic event in 1937 when he was only five years old.

The book is not only about the tragedy of a little boy who lost his parents but how that boy overcame tremendous odds to have a relatively normal life.

The events took place in a small Montana community.

The book highlights the tragedy in writing and has many photos throughout it as well.

The Hattenburgs will be in Montana in April to spend time near the location of the story and to promote their book.
