Athenaeum

Members met March 6 at the Whitman County library. A presentation was given by Dorla Scholz on eagles and hostess was Dana Carroll. The March 20 meeting will be a business meeting with a location to be announced later.

Genealogical Society

Whitman County Genealogical Society will host a seminar featuring Janet Camarata and Winona Laird from Genealogy Training Center Saturday, March 28, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Express in Pullman.

Topics include accessing historical newspapers and researching collateral lines. The cost will be $30, including lunch, until March 20 or $35 without lunch at the door.
