Port board hears third round of trail comments

Port of Whitman County commissioners heard comments from another supporter of the "Rails-to-Trails" proposal for the now idle Colfax to Pullman rail line.

Dave Holtzheimer, who lives along Highway 26 west of Colfax, told commissioners Monday morning that he wanted to "hopefully influence you about the railroad right-of-way."
