Rosalia United Methodist Church and Assembly of God Church will offer combined services for Easter.
All are invited to a Good Friday service at the Assembly of God Church, at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 3. Choirs and instrumentalists from both churches will provide music, while Joan Sulser, pastor of Rosalia United Methodist Church, will offer a meditation. This worship experience tells the story of Jesus’ arrest and crucifixion.
Easter Sunday observances begin at 6:30 a.m. April 5 with a sunrise service at the Steptoe Battlefield Monument. Stewart Nereim, pastor of Rosalia Assembly of God Church, will provide the message. In the event of inclement weather, the Sunrise service will be at Rosalia United Methodist Church.
Following the sunrise service, participants and friends will gather for breakfast at the Rosalia United Methodist Church.
Separate worship services will continue the celebration — 10 a.m. at the United Methodist Church and 11 a.m. at the Assembly of God Church.
