New river barbs at work

The five river barbs which were installed last fall on the North Fork of the Palouse River by city crews were doing their job last Friday when the river was running at full force following heavy rains last week. Located downstream from Glenwood, the barbs were installed to counter erosion at the sharp turn in the river.
