Merritt attends California service

Betty and Conly Merritt spent March 17 to 24 in Fort Jones, Calif., to attend the funeral of Betty's mother, Eleanor Iten. They stayed with Betty's sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Bill Hammer. Eleanor had spent the last several winters living in Hooper. She died in Colfax, March 14, after a brief illness.
