Serving Whitman County since 1877
WSU Extension is once again holding a “Pathways to Prosperity Rural Economic Development” conference Friday, April 17, at more than 20 locations in Washington.
Clarkston will be one of the host sites for this conference.
The conference features Rural Economic Development Specialist Erik Pages from Arlington, Va., via webinar, plus local entrepreneurs and experts.
Following Pages’ presentation, participants at the Clarkston site will have the opportunity to hear from local entrepreneurs and put their ideas into action through organized activities that address local issues, resources and project ideas.
Small business owners, local government officials, city and county planners, chambers of commerce, economic development associations and anyone who is interested in healthy local economies are encouraged to attend.
The conference is from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and will be held at the Clarkston Branch of Walla Walla Community College. The registration fee is $30.
