Vikings, Eagles bag wins in big Southeast 1B meet

Track competitors from the Garfield/Palouse/ Oakesdale combo and St. John/Endicott rolled up some wins last Wednesday in the big SE district meet at Dayton.

Anne Hockett took big wins in both hurdle events for the Vikings plus the 400 meter run.

Sophomore Zoe Robertson took the 800 and the 1600. She won the 1600 with a margin of more than 17 seconds.

S.J.E. freshman Jadyn Corder topped the discus by more than two feet with a 78-3 sling. She also placed third in the shot-put.

On the boys side, SJE’s Adam Blakeley won the 400 with a 56.5, and Jimmy Hollingshead took the long jump for the Eagles...
