Arbor Day rite set at Farmington

The town of Farmington will conduct an Arbor Day celebration in conjunction with Earth Day Wednesday, April 22, at 4 p.m. in the town park.

The event will feature a tree planting ceremony which was made possible through a partnership with Spokane Conservation District and funded by a grant from Tree City USA, for which Farmington recently met the qualifications.
