Vikings softball drops game to Kendrick

The Garfield-Palouse softball team traveled to Kendrick Tuesday night for a 26-16 loss.

"I thought our girls did very well," said Coach Phil Weagraff. "We have very young pitching. They just need to get dialed into the strike zone."

On the mound for the Vikings were senior Bri Brown and eighth-grader Keely Burns.

At one point in the game, Gar-Pal was in danger of having the game called on account of the 10-run rule. They needed six runs to stay in it and scored eight.
