Invitations go out for Rosalia all-class reunion

More than 700 announcements have been sent to graduates of Rosalia High School for an all class reunion to be held during Rosalia's Battle Days celebration the weekend of June 6 and 7, 2015. Invitations are extended to any former residents of Rosalia, Malden, Thornton, anyone who attended but didn't graduate from Rosalia, any teacher instructing in any of these schools, or anyone who has any connection to the area and wants to come join in the celebration.

A Rosalia Community blood drive has been scheduled by Inland Northwest Blood Center for next Monday, April 27, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Rosalia High School. Appointments can be made with Mike Day or online: http://www.inbcsavers.org.

Mike Day was among volunteers honored at the Heroes for Life recognition banquet April 13 at Northern Quest Casino on Airway Heights. He was honored for five years of volunteer work.

Josh Wade presented a workshop called Business Outside the box last Wednesday at the Rosalia Library. He introduced participants to the benefits of using social media and relationship marketing to build local businesses.

Wade made the Rosalia stop as part of a tour of county libraries. The program was also presented Tuesday at the Best Western in Colfax and at the Palouse Library.
