Awesome Authors Inc. taking orders

Lacrosse

The Awesome Authors Inc. Book Company, which consists of third, fourth, seventh and eighth graders, are taking orders for a pre-sale of a book containing a collection of stories they have written and illustrated. They are still in production mode. Books will be available May 18. All proceeds from the book will be donated to the Eric Binks fund. The price is a donation of any amount. Contact any student from those grades or teachers to order.

LaCrosse third through sixth graders attended an interactive concert with the Spokane symphony. They played recorders and sang songs along with the symphony.

The Colfax choir performed for the LaCrosse students as part of their choir tour.

Don and Carol Keeney received the LaCrosse “Yard of the Month” for May. Their yard was selected by the Beautification Committee. The Committee will elect a yard each month of the gardening season.

LaCrosse Community Pride is preparing for a silent auction fund-raiser for the Farmer's Festival June 20, 2015, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The committee would appreciate any donations to help make the auction a success.

Donations may be an item or a financial contribution and the committee will purchase an item.
