Clover Club shines at Jr. stock show

Tekoa 4H Clover Club kids, shown here with leader Nikki Lehn, did well at the 2015 Junior Livestock show. Those who all took swine were Randi Johnson, Delani Lehn, Rextyn Ramirez, Alex McHuarge, Riley Ramirez and Ally Blazack.

Riley Ramirez took grand champion in his class for market and took overall reserve market hog. Rextyn Ramirez, McHargue and Johnson all made it to finals in fitting and showing and Rextyn took Grand Champion in fitting and showing.

Clover Club also did the truck load sale which entails three pigs that look similar for a market sale and three kids have to show them. The three that took first place were Riley, Lehnand Johnson.

They also did a group of Tekoa Clover Club littles with Libby Lehn, Rextyn Ramirez and Alex McHargue, and they placed second. The judges presented the winners with a banner that will be hung up at the Tekoa elementary school.
