11th arts show
Palouse Arts Council will sponsor its 11th annual Artists’ Showcase, June 19 -21 in Palouse. Artwork will be shown in local downtown businesses and the Palouse Grange, 210 E. Bluff Street.
All events are free and open to the public. A map identifying artists and locations will be available at participating businesses and the Grange. We invite you to come stroll Palouse and support local artists.
Schedule of events:
Friday, 6-9 p.m. - Artists’ reception at the Palouse Grange
Saturday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. - Downtown and Grange exhibits open
11 a.m.- 2 p.m. - Free interactive children’s art experiences at the Grange
Sunday, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. - Palouse Grange exhibits open.
’70 Colfax grad
inquires about 45th
Carl Draper of Spokane, a member of Colfax High School class of 1970, has inquired about the possibility of a 45-year class reunion this summer.
“It’s almost early enough in the summer that we can still plan something,” he said. “Hey, this is the 45th; there aren’t many left.”
