Duo attends Walla Walla rite

Recently, Lucky, Joan and Rob Myrick attended a memorial for Lucky’s brother, Ernie Myrick, in Walla Walla.

Rob spent the night with his cousin Ernie Wayne and the Myrick’s met them at Tucannon on Sunday.

Lucky did a little fishing.

Blake and Carmen Heaton went to Phoenix for a few days to attend the eighth grade promotion ceremony at the Highland Lakes School for their grandson, Justus Heaton, son of Erica and Christopher Heaton.

David and Phyllis Stueckle were in Portland last Thursday to Friday to hear their grandson Joshua Light, son of Karen and Larry Light, perform with the Cleveland High choir in their spring concert. Kim and Cindy Pitts spent Memorial weekend in Yakima with their daughter Carrie Pitts.

Eric, Shannon, Christopher and Sidney Appel spent the weekend in Yakima watching Sarah and the Colfax softball team compete at the WIAA State Championships.

The team played a total of five games and earned sixth place.

Kyle Appel was also competing for the State Championships in Centralia with the Colfax baseball team.

David and Phyllis Stueckle, Linda Hennigar, Art Sager and Dale and Vicki Broeckel attended funeral services for Myna Kneale, wife of Robbie Kneale, at Short’s Funeral Home in Moscow Saturday.

A reception at the Nazarene Church followed the services.

Country Bible Church is changing the time of their Sunday morning worship services for the summer.

Starting with this Sunday, June 7th, and continuing throughout June, July and August, worship services will be from 10 a.m.

to 11 a.m.
