Cody Gronning, Kasey Johnson and Katherine Woodhouse have been named as co-valedictorians at Colfax High School with all-A grade averages and Carolyn Knaack has been named as the salutatorian with a 3.99 grade average.
Cody Gronning, son of Craig and Laurie Gronning, participated in several activities during high school, including jazz and concert band, FBLA, ASB and NHS. He also played on the basketball and baseball teams as a freshman and played football and golf all four years. He was active in the youth group at Onecho Bible Church. He will attend Boise State University in the fall to study engineering.
Kasey Johnson, son of Bryan and Debbie Johnson, was active throughout high school, participating in basketball, golf, jazz band, youth group and ASB. He plans to attend Pacific Lutheran University in the fall to study health sciences.
Katherine Woodhouse, daugther of Glenn and Debbie Woodhouse, was involved with jazz band, FBLA, high school musicals, honor society and knowledge bowl during her time at Colfax High School. She plans to attend the University of Idaho to study environmental science.
Carolyn Knaack, daughter of Charles Knaack and Kathleen Painter, participated in FFA, National Honor Society and jazz band. She will attend the University of Washington in the fall to study biology.
