LaCrosse grads receive awards, scholarships

Approximately $55,000 in awards and grants were presented to the LaCrosse Class of 2015.

Recipients are as follows: Cameron Ellis: LaCrosse Scholarship Foundation Scholarship.

Cole Evans: LaCrosse High School Athlete of the Year, Richard L. Roberts Memorial Scholarship, LaCrosse Masonic Lodge Scholarship, Clemente Barber Scholarship, LaCrosse Scholarship Foundation Scholarship.

Jacob Johnson: Salutatorian Award, Montana State University Federal Pell Grant, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant, Washington Undergraduate Exchange Scholarship, LaCrosse Scholarship Foundation Scholarship.

Jason Wigen: Valedictorian Award, Torgeson Memorial Award, Washington Scholar of 2015, Washington State Honors Award, Community Club Scholarship, Kelli Scharpenberg Memorial Scholarship, Richard L. Roberts Memorial Scholarship, Urgel & Virginia Bell Memorial Scholarship, McGregor Company Scholarship, June Roberts Scholarship Agricultural and Food Systems at WSU, FFA National Scholarship from Seneca Foods, Roscoe and Francis Cox Scholarship from the Department of Crop & Soil Sciences at WSU, Destination WSU Scholarship, WSU Regents Scholars, LaCrosse Masonic Lodge Scholarship, Clemente Barber Scholarship, LaCrosse Scholarship Foundation Scholarship.

Other awards (non-senior): Nicole Harder- Athlete of the Year Doug Curtis & the LaCrosse Schools’ students — Community Appreciation Award — for money raised in memory of Erik Binks.
