Rep. Dye to attend next Port session

State Representative Mary Dye, R-Pomeroy, plans to attend the Port of Whitman County Commissioner’s meeting July 2.

The commissioners will meet for their regular meeting at 10 a.m. at the Port of Whitman County building on N. Mill Street.

Port Properties and Development Manager Debbie Snell said Dye will generally discuss issues the county and state are facing.

Dye was appointed to a special one-year term as the ninth district state representative May 8 after Susan Fagan of Pullman resigned. She has filed for election in November for a one-year term to complete Fagan’s term.
