LaCrosse graduates gather for reunions

Many family and friends were saddened to learn of the passing last week of former Whitman County resident Clare Steiger. Clare was one of the last of that amazing generation of women who lived through the Depression, World Wars and raised families, partnered with their husbands in developing farms in our area.

Denise Kendall, Tacoma, spent from Friday to Tuesday in the Dusty/LaCrosse area. She was in LaCrosse for farmer’s festival Sunday. She, Oscar Broeckel, Brian and Angela Broeckel, Graham BeDell and Jazmyn Ray were guests of Tom and Doreen Riedner for Father’s Day dinner at their hom...
