Albion — 12 p.m. — Summer Reading kids are invited to march together in the 4th of July Parade.

Monday, July 6
St. John — 10 a.m. — Junior Summer Reading for younger children with activities and crafts.
LaCrosse — 11 a.m. — Join us in the park for Summer Science with Palouse Discovery Science Center.
Lamont Park — 5 p.m. — Hometown Heroes — Join us for Stories, hot dogs and the chance to visit with local firemen and police officers. All children attending choose a free book.
Tuesday, July 7
Palouse and Endicott —Every Hero Has a Story — Kids of all ages are invited to our summer reading programs. Check the calendar for times.
St. John — 11 a.m. — Family Book Club: "The One and Only Ivan" by Kathrine Applegate — Based on a true story that took place in Tacoma. All ages are welcome to join the discussion.
Colfax — 4 p.m. - Celebration of our Community Hero Firefighters and EMTs with emergency vehicles, suitable for the entire family. This program is at Eells Park in Colfax.
Wednesday, July 8
Oakesdale — 12:30 p.m. —Summer Reading Game Day in the Park — Compete for prizes or just enjoy refreshments in the shade.
St. John — 1 p.m. — Young Heroes — Spokane Explorer Search and Rescue is coming to tell us what they do and teach wilderness safety.
Garfield, Malden, & Uniontown — Every Hero Has a Story — Kids of all ages are invited to our summer reading programs. Check the calendar for times.
