Palouse bans fires

Palouse and Fire District 4 Tuesday announced a ban on outdoor burning in the City of Palouse and Fire District 4. Exceptions will be gas and charcoal barbecues and gas fire pits.

Residents are also encouraged to forego the use of personal fireworks during the upcoming holiday weekend. Fire Chief Mike Baggott encouraged those who choose to use personal fireworks to exercise extreme caution. mikeb@palousefd.org...
